Shipping Policy
Notice
Please advise that Raw Motive Works LLC will not be held liable for any damages, loss, etc. due to shipping. All damage/loss claims must be made to the carrier, as they handle your shipment. Under no circumstances will Raw Motive Works LLC be liable for negligence of packaging, any damages, or loss once the order has left our facility.
It is the recipient's responsibility to acknowledge damages upon product arrival. Do NOT sign off on shipment if any physical damage is present. For most of our orders, we will provide an email with photos of your shipment. We also instruct all customers to do the following: If your shipment looks damaged in any way, please be sure to write this down on the delivery document that you will sign and take photos of the damage. This will provide proof of damage to the carrier if any claims are needed. Customer has the right to refuse delivery if package has been damaged.
For claims, customer must address issues with the carrier. Raw Motive Works and our team reserve the right to assist with claims, etc. ; however, we are not liable/responsible, or required to assist.

When Receiving Shipment
Our suggestion for each customer is to document, with photographs, the arrival of their shipment. This means taking photos of how the shipment arrived, right off the truck from the carrier (on the pallet), or the box with their product inside.
If there is visible pallet damage or packing damage, be sure to write in detail on shipping/delivery documents. Customers have the right to decline acceptance of shipment due to damages by carrier. If the customer would like to accept the equipment with noticeable damage, ensure this information is captured and expressed to carrier on the shipping document that the customer signs.
If there are any issues with your shipment, please contact the carrier as soon as possible. If your product is damaged due to carrier's negligence, be sure to provide information to carrier before accepting and signing for the product. Be sure to take photos at the acceptance of the product to provide to the carrier and/or our team if needed. Raw Motive Works LLC does not cover any shipping costs for products to the customer or for any returns. Raw Motive Works LLC is NOT responsible for stolen or lost shipments, shipments sent to the wrong address, for refunds, or replacing shipments in these cases. These issues should be addressed by the carrier. Please ensure that as the customer, you contact the carrier in a timely manner to ensure your issues are resolved.

Carrier Insurance Policy
Carrier shipping insurance is an additional coverage that can be purchased at an additional cost. When scheduling your shipment, if you have purchased carrier shipping insurance through our website, we will add this coverage to your shipment through the carrier. Your shipment value that is insured is the total cost of your order. The carrier insurance fee you are paying is ONLY the insurance policy and DOES NOT include the deductible if any of these issues occur. The deductible will vary, and in some cases will be a minimum of $500. (This may vary depending on carrier, number of shipments, total shipment value, etc.)
Typically carriers have freight claims for these cases but may not have coverage for each scenario. Carrier shipment insurance claims typically pay out in a few weeks, where freight claims can take months. If issues occur, please contact the carrier immediately, as well as our team. Although Raw Motive Works LLC is not liable for these issues, our team will assist as needed.
The carrier shipping insurance is similar to car insurance. You are purchasing a shipping insurance policy on your shipment incase it is damaged, or lost during transit. All shipping costs paid to Raw Motive Works LLC are nonrefundable, including the cost of carrier shipping insurance.

Please read our Terms of Service for further information pertaining to your orders and usage of our website. Raw Motive Works reserves the right to change our policies and prices at any point on our site without notice. As a user and customer, you are agreeing to these terms by using our site and purchasing from our company. Any dispute or return/refund request that arose before the changes to such Terms and/or policies will be governed by the Terms and/or policies in place when the dispute or return/refund request arose.
In the event that any provision of these policies are determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these policies, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
